Rob Saltiel serves as our President and CEO and on our Board of Directors. Rob previously served as President and CEO of Key Energy Services from 2018 to 2019 and as President and CEO of Atwood Oceanics from 2009 to 2017. Rob’s earlier experience includes positions in strategy, operations and marketing at Transocean, Nabors Industries, Enron, McKinsey and ExxonMobil. Rob received a BS in chemical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Northwestern University. Rob also serves on the nonprofit boards of Spindletop Community Impact Partners and the Memorial Park Conservancy.  

Kelly Youngblood currently serves as our Executive Vice President & CFO. Kelly brings more than 30 years of extensive energy and finance expertise to MRC Global. Prior roles include CFO at BJ Services and Senior Vice President & CFO at Diamond Offshore Drilling. He has also held a variety of finance and accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Halliburton, including Vice President of Investor Relations. Kelly is a CPA and holds a BBA in accounting from Cameron University. Kelly currently serves on the Board of the Houston Chapter of the American Heart Association.

Dan Churay currently serves as our Executive Vice President – Corporate Affairs, General Counsel, & Corporate Secretary. He previously served as President and CEO of Rex Energy Corporation; Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of YRC Worldwide and Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Baker Hughes. Dan began his career as an attorney at the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright in Houston, Texas. Dan received a BA in economics from the University of Texas and a JD from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a member of the Law Review. Dan currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts.

Grant Bates currently serves as our Senior Vice President – North America Operations & E-Commerce. Grant has held various senior leadership roles across our business, including prior responsibility for our international and Canadian operations and our corporate strategy. He also previously served as our Senior Vice President Operational Excellence and CIO. Grant joined MRC Global in 2012 through the acquisition of OneSteel Piping Systems, which he led at the time. He has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution of PVF products across a variety of senior management roles. Grant holds a BEng in mechanical engineering from the University of Newcastle (Australia) and an MBA from Deakin University (Australia).

Shweta Kurvey-Mishra serves as our Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. Shweta’s experience includes driving holistic people and culture strategy across global, diversified industries including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, automotive, medical, chemical and environmental services. Prior to joining MRC Global, Shweta was the Vice President – Organization & Talent Development at Waste Management, an industry leading environmental services company. Shweta holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Business) from University of Mumbai in India and earned her Master’s in Organizational Communication and Master’s in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Michigan State University. She also currently serves on the Board of Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers and University of Houston’s Human Resource Development Advisory Board.

Rance Long currently serves as our Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing. Rance has held various senior leadership roles across our business, including prior responsibility for our global business development efforts. Rance joined MRC Global as part of our acquisition of LaBarge Pipe and Steel in 2008. Rance holds a BS in construction from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Jack McCarthy currently serves as our Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management, Quality and Technical Sales. He leads an international team of product experts, supply chain professionals and inventory specialists, and is responsible for the management of the global PVF supply chain. Jack has held a variety of leadership roles in his career at MRC Global including Vice President CS PFF & VAMI SCM and Vice President of Supply Chain Management CS PFF, where he led our line pipe team since 2011, with responsibilities for our carbon steel fittings and flanges being added in 2016. Prior to joining MRC Global with the acquisition of LaBarge Pipe and Steel in 2005, he held roles in business development, sales, and sales management in the industrial distribution industry. Jack is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a former vice president and board member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors.

Emily Shields currently serves as our Senior Vice President – Sustainability and Assistant General Counsel.  Emily served previously as the company’s Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Officer leading corporate matters across areas of governance, business disputes and litigation, ethics and regulatory compliance, labor and employment, health, safety and environment, and our international legal group. Prior to joining MRC Global in 2013, Emily practiced litigation at the law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius L.L.P. in Houston, Texas.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Texas A&M University and received her Juris doctorate from South Texas College of Law.  Emily is on the board of the Association of Corporate Counsel - Houston Chapter. 

Steve Smith currently serves as Senior Vice President – International. Steve previously served as our Vice President – Europe, Middle East & Africa and has held multiple sales and operations leadership roles at MRC Global outside of North America. Steve’s 35 years of industry experience includes roles of increasing responsibility at valve manufacturing companies in the United Kingdom, including Neles and Emerson Process Management. Steve joined MRC Global after its acquisition of Transmark FCX in 2009.
 

Gillian Anderson currently serves as our Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to that role, she held various positions with Ernst & Young LLP, including Audit Senior Manager. Ms. Anderson is a CPA and a Chartered Accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. She holds an MA in accountancy and finance (with honors) from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland).
